ADVANTAGE (with imidacloprid) will control fleas on dogs and cats within 1 day of treatment and will continue to protect them from further flea infestation for at least 4 weeks. ADVANTAGE begins working on biting fleas in three to five minutes. After application of ADVANTAGE, adult fleas will begin dying within an hour, and that 98% to 100% of fleas will be eliminated within 12 hours.Application of ADVANTAGE: For maximum effectiveness, shampoo/groom dog or cat no than less than 48hours before and after application.The entire contents of the advantage tube should be applied evenly to six or eight spots on the top of the back from the shoulder to the base of the tail. At each spot, part the hair until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and gently squeeze to dispense a portion of the solution on the skin. Do not apply an excessive amount of solution at one spot that could cause some of the solution to run off the side. Reapply ADVANTAGE Flea Control every 4 weeks for both. For effective flea control, treatment of the pet should be combined with the sanitation of any area used by the pet. Vacuum floors, carpets and furniture (discard vacuum bag after use) and wash the pet’s bedding, living quarters, and surrounding areas.Do not get this product in your pet’s eyes or mouth. It is generally recommended that pregnant or nursing cats along with the seriously ill or underweight are not given such medication without first consulting your vet. Manufactured by Bayer
